January 2011 - Opening of a Point of Services in Masina

Advans Banque Congo started started 2011 with determination: the Masina Point of services opened to the public on January 10. It is the third point of services of Advans Banque Congo in Kinshasa, along with the main branch located in la Gombé and the Moulaert branch in Bandal.

This third point of services is located in a very populated area, next to the Liberté market.

With the ambition to get closer to its clientele, Advans Banque Congo is planning to open two additional outlets of this kind by the end of 2011. 

October 2010 - Advans Banque Congo launches "Advans Mobile"

Advans Banque Congo launched Advans Mobile in October 2010, with the aim of optimizing the use of the services it offers to its clientele.

The Advans Mobile services allow their users to access their Advans’ accounts from their mobile phones, very simply.

Different pieces of information are available via Advans Mobile: installment reminders, debit and credit alerts, account balance, account statement as well as exchange rates of the day.

Advans Banque Congo plans to broaden the range of its Advans Mobile services in 2011, offering to its clients the possibility to order transfers from their mobile phones.

 

February 2010 - Advans Banque Congo capital increase

Advans Banque Congo is pleased to announce that it has recently completed a capital increase to bring its total capital to USD 13 million, in line with the new minimum capital requirements for commercial banks set by the Congolese central bank.

July 24 2009 - Advans Banque Congo launches its operations.

June 5th 2008 – Advans SA announces the creation of Advans Banque Congo.

During the World Economic Forum, Claude Falgon, Director of Advans SA announced the creation of Advans Banque Congo, the fourth microfinance institution of the Advans network.

Advans Banque Congo will offer financial services to micro, small and medium sized enterprises and start its operations in Kinshasa before progressively branching out to other major cities.
