Advans Myanmar makes loan repayments easier for clients with a new digital partnership

Advans Myanmar has recently launched a partnership with Ongo, the leading business-to-business (B2B) digital payment service provider in Myanmar. With growing mobile internet penetration in Myanmar and evolving client behaviours, digital payment systems such as Ongo’s offer a new way for clients to interact with financial service providers. Once up and running, the new channel will enable Advans Myanmar’s customers to repay their Advans loans at any Ongo agent or from their homes or businesses with the Ongo Mobile App.

Jana Kadian, Managing Director of Advans Myanmar says: “The new channel will make Advans financial solutions more accessible for customers in their day-to-day lives, saving them time and travel expenses. The partnership will also enable Advans to effectively reach out to communities and businesses in more remote areas that were previously excluded.”

Advans Myanmar serves over 40,000 small businesses and farmers today and is looking to increase its proximity to clients, especially those in rural areas. The partnership is in line with Advans aim to combine a mix of high touch and high tech channels so that clients can get access to Advans services where and when they need. It also shows the importance of leveraging on partnerships with key players to offer new and innovative services.

The new channel will help Advans Myanmar to increase its outreach and fulfil its mission to provide responsible and client centric services, promoting inclusive social and economic development in Myanmar.
