Advans Tunisie opens two new branches in the south of the country
Last month Advans Tunisie held official opening ceremonies on 14 November and 21 November for its new branches in Sfax and Sidi Bouzid. Advans’ staff, local authorities, institutional partners and shareholders attended the two events together with the media and the new branches’ first clients.
New branch in Sfax
The Sfax branch opened its doors to the public in May this year with the aim of serving entrepreneurs from across the region often excluded from the traditional financial system by offering simple credit services for investment and working capital, with straightforward and fast procedures.
“Sfax is a large economic center, very favorable to the development of micro-finance thanks to flourishing sectors such as the olive oil and fishing ones", says Atef Hermessi, Advans Tunisie’s Commercial Director.
New branch in Sidi Bouzid
The opening of the Sidi Bouzid branch followed a few months later. Advans chose this second dynamic city for the great potential of the agricultural sector in the area which is in line with Advans' desire to offer farmers products adapted to the seasonality of their activities.
With these new branch openings Advans Tunisie continues to pursue its ambitious objective of serving all clients throughout the country.
